How it works

  1. 1

    Choose the dialect

Pick Arabic, then Moroccan, Algerian or Tunisian. Each one has its own vocabulary rules.

  2. 2

    Get the script

Let AI write a 25 to 40 second script from your product for free, or paste your own words.

  3. 3

    Pick a voice

Six voices, three styles and three speeds. Play a sample of each before you record.

  4. 4

    Record and download

Edit the script, record it, and copy the SRT captions into your video.

Listen before you sign up

The same short ad line, read in each Darija by the voices of the voiceover tool. These are the samples the tool itself plays.

Why Darija instead of Modern Standard Arabic

Buyers in Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia understand Modern Standard Arabic, but they don't talk to each other in it. An ad read in MSA sounds like a news bulletin; one read in Darija sounds like a friend recommending a product. In the first seconds of a TikTok or a Reel, that difference decides whether people keep watching.

Darija is also where generic text to speech falls short: it reads Darija words with an MSA or Egyptian accent, or rewrites them into MSA. SymplysisAI treats each Darija as a dialect of its own.

Moroccan and Algerian Darija are not the same

They share words like بزاف, but much of the everyday vocabulary differs, and buyers notice. The script follows each dialect's own words:

  • Moroccan: دابا (now), غادي (going to), واخا (okay), مزيان (good), شحال (how much), بغيت (I want).
  • Algerian: دروك (now), راني (I am), واش (what), مليح (good), نبغي (I want), خويا (my brother).
  • Tunisian: توّا (now), برشة (a lot), باهي (good), نحب (I want), فمّة (there is).

Words from other dialects stay out

A Moroccan script doesn't slip into Egyptian دلوقتي and عايز or Gulf وش and أبغى, and an Algerian script leaves out Moroccan دابا and غادي. Mixing dialects is the fastest way to sound fake, so each dialect is written with its own words and a list of words to avoid.

Darija or French, from the same product

Many Maghreb brands advertise in both. The voiceover tool also records in French and in 18 named Arabic dialects, so you can test a Darija and a French version of the same ad. For every other Arabic dialect, see symplysis.com/features/arabic-voiceover.

Pricing in credits

Writing the script is free. Recording a voiceover costs 6 credits from your plan's shared pool: a full month of Lite credits buys 75 voiceovers, or fewer if you also make videos, pages or posters.
