What the surveys say

UAE COD volumes once passed 65% of online orders. Later surveys show a split: a Google and Bain & Company survey reported 44% of UAE consumers preferring cash on delivery, and other studies found only half of consumers naming cash as preferred after the pandemic. Mobile ordering is high, but many shoppers hesitate to pay online for unfamiliar brands.
